The biggest players in the sector are relying on acquisitions and innovations – including the increased use of AI. However, things could get more uncomfortable for pharmaceutical companies in the US market: the future US Secretary of Health and Human Services, Rober F. Kennedy Jr., is considered a critic of the industry and has already spoken out in favor of capping drug prices.
